The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic, adaptable, and student-focused High School Teacher (On-Site Classroom Instructor) to join our Casa Grande Campus.
This role is particularly suited for an educator who is confident in classroom management and student engagement and comfortable teaching within a blended learning environment. Students complete much of their coursework through an online learning platform while receiving direct instructional support, intervention, guidance, and accountability from teachers on campus.
The successful candidate will be able to manage a classroom in which students may be working on different courses and at different academic levels while maintaining clear expectations, productive routines, active supervision, and a positive learning environment.

What You'll Do:
- Provide daily on-site instruction, academic support, and supervision for high school students in a blended learning environment.
- Establish and consistently maintain clear classroom expectations, routines, procedures, and standards for student behavior and academic engagement.
- Actively manage the classroom to ensure students remain engaged, productive, and appropriately supported throughout the school day.
- Guide students through online coursework while providing direct instruction, clarification, reteaching, intervention, and enrichment as needed.
- Provide individualized and small-group instruction based on student needs and academic progress.
- Assist students across multiple subject areas and connect students with appropriate instructional resources or subject-area support when needed.
- Monitor students' online activity, coursework completion, grades, pacing, and overall academic progress.
- Identify students who are falling behind or becoming disengaged and implement timely strategies to improve participation and progress.
- Help students develop organization, time-management, study, and independent-learning skills necessary for success in an online and blended learning environment.
- Build strong relationships with students to promote motivation, accountability, confidence, and academic independence.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, academic progress, interventions, and student contacts.
- Support a roster of online students through regular communication, instruction, feedback, engagement, and progress monitoring.
- Communicate regularly with students, parents/guardians, and school staff regarding student progress, attendance, engagement, and areas of concern.
- Use learning management systems, student information systems, and other educational technology effectively.
- Participate in professional development, staff meetings, collaborative planning, and school initiatives.
- Support broader campus operations and student-success initiatives as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in education or a related field; Master's degree or higher preferred.
- Arizona Teaching Certificate in Secondary Education or an appropriate content area, or the ability to obtain certification. Highly qualified candidates with advanced degrees or significant instructional experience are encouraged to apply.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to establish structure, maintain expectations, and effectively redirect student behavior.
- Demonstrated ability to engage and motivate high school students, including students who may have experienced academic setbacks or disengagement from traditional school settings.
- Ability to provide instruction and academic support to students working at different grade levels, ability levels, and stages of course completion.
- Comfort teaching and supporting students in a technology-rich environment where online coursework is an integral part of daily instruction.
- Ability to monitor online student progress and translate data into meaningful instructional interventions and follow-up.
- Strong instructional skills with an emphasis on differentiated instruction, individualized learning, and student-centered teaching practices.
- Ability to balance supportive relationships with clear expectations, accountability, and appropriate professional boundaries.
- Confidence working with students individually, in small groups, and within a supervised classroom setting.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with students, families, and colleagues.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- A flexible, solutions-oriented mindset and willingness to contribute to both instruction and broader school initiatives.
